Kumbhoj, Kolhapur 2011

I was invited by Bro. Solomon Jacobto minister to the saints in Khumbhoj, Maharashtra on the 26th and 27th of November, 2011.

A three day tent revival was arranged with a crowd of around 100 people in attendance including believers and a few denominationals.

The meetings were held on land purchased by Bro. Jacob, who has been laboring in the villages of Maharashtra and the surrounding areas for the past 30 years. Bro. Jacob, who is originally of Jewish ancestry, now lives in Israel with his wife, children, and their families. He currently pastors a church: The Living Word Tabernacle in Tel Aviv, Israel.

At the behest of Bro. Jacob, the meetings were organized by Pastor P.G. Balerao and Bro. Sona Dette of Ahmednagar.

Bro. Jacob, Bro. Balerao, and Bro. Sona Dette are old friends in the faith, and fellow laborers in the Lord's vineyard.

I shared my testimony, and spoke on the symbols of the Holy Spirit, the work of the Holy Spirit in a believer's life, the coming of Christ, and the rule of the anti-Christ.

Bro. Shimon from Pune served as the interpreter at the meetings.

Many came forward confessing that the presence of the Lord had touched them.

I see a great thirst in the Maharashtrian people, truth seeking souls eager to know more about the Word of God.

On the last day of the service, we planted a sapling on the church grounds. It is my fervent prayer that like this tree that is sown by one and watered by another, the Lord may give a 100 fold increase to the church in Khumbhoj in the years to come.
